About

I jumped into the local television news business 20 years ago and it’s just like some people think television is. It took me to glamorous places such as Florence and Anniston Alabama.

I’ve worked at great stations and really really bad stations. I’ve been an anchor, producer, talk-show host, color commentator, reporter, photographer, weatherman, feature reporter, sports anchor, and news director (for one week).

Out of the business in 2004 I ran my own company for nearly 2 years before taking another tv job, this one in Nashville.  I started this blog when there was no one for me to talk to in my home-office. I’ve kept doing it because…well, I don’t know why I still do this.

I’m a husband and a dad. We’re a fairly normal family. I blog about tv, pop culture and anything else that comes to mind.
