My wife nearly threw it out and I couldn’t have blamed her.
It’s an old Polo button-downed shirt that I’ve had for years. Truth be told, I probably once wore it with a polo golf shirt underneath with the collar flipped up. It’s worn out now, there’s a tear from one side of the collar to the other. I can’t wear it anywhere important, but I love to wear it when I can. I can’t wear the sleeves any way but rolled up since they’re about 3 inches too short for my arms. Fortunately, working from home now I can wear it every week. It’s my “creative writing shirt”. Glad my wife didn’t throw it out.
Thanks to Peggy for the kind words about this blog. My traffic is way up after the shout-out.
I’m on standby the rest of the week for a telecommunications company holding meetings in DeSoto County. They want the meeting videotaped but haven’t told me exactly when I should be there. So I’m sitting by the phone with gear charged up and ready to go.
I’m hoping to attend tomorrow morning’s “blog summit” at the Pink Palace Museum. For those who don’t know, this is my personal blog, my other “blog” is for my ministry “The ACTS Network”. I’m hoping to learn how to develop a blog to promote business. I can’t seem to find the press release on the blog summit but it begins at 7:30 with networking, and a panel discussion at 9am. Peggy Phillip is part of the panel along with Mike Holihan with “half-bakered” .
