TrickRTreat

November 1, 2005 by jameyt

We still do Halloween in our house. Trey was a cowboy and Delaney was a punk rocker or “diva” as she likes to say.

There aren’t many occupied houses near us so we went to our old neighborhood for trick or treating. I was surprised at how many new faces there are in our old neighborhood. It was a little strange seeing our old house with someone else standing in the doorway and handing out candy.

We never really wonder whether we should let the kids do Halloween. I understand why some folks have stopped the tradition but I really don’t see anything wrong with letting the kids dress up like cowboys or princesses and stop by the neighbor’s house and get a bag of candy.

Now I’ll change my mind if my kids start reading books on potions and curses but for right now, I’m going to enjoy every Halloween my kids want to do this.

Oh my goodness! If it was a black and white picture, I would swear it was you and Tammy standing there. I forgot your birthday. Sorry. Happy Birthday! Talk to you soon.
