Whenever I have a pretty tight deadline for a video project, I start having computer issues? Last month as a church project was due in two days, my computer became infected with viruses (or should that be viri?)
This time, after installing new software I started having issues with my video/graphics cards. Today I dropped $140 on a new AGP card but still have the problem. Some good folks on a message board are trying to help me sort it out but they don’t have much more of a clue than I do.
Delaney’s birthday party was good. ChuckECheese. I don’t understand why kids like this place so much. The pizza is about as good as I can make with a box of Chef Boyardee and no matter how many tickets you have after playing 2 hours of skeeball, all you can manage to get at the prize window is either a whoopee cushion or a styrofoam airplane.
When I was a kid the only place kids had birthday parties was at their house. I’m hoping I can convince my kids that our new house will be party central for birthdays from now on.
I’ve got to teach SS tomorrow morning. I’m not good at it. I don’t have any confidence in doing it and it puts more stress on me than a video deadline. What’s worse is that we’re not going out of any literature (except the Bible) and my co-teacher who usually teaches the class is a dr. of divinity and a seminary professor. I feel like a national league pitcher hitting cleanup after Albert Pujols.
