Yes, I heard about Ron.
Don’t have anything to say about it except I’m surprised and disappointed.
We’re going to buy a house this week. We’ve narrowed our list down from 56 houses to just 5 and will be looking again this weekend before making an offer. Hendersonville and Murfreesboro are where we’re most likely to “take the wheels off the trailer”, but we’re also going to take another look at Mt. Juliet.
I can think of nothing more stressful than selling, buying and then moving. With kids in the house you’ve got to look at more than just the house. What’s the neighborhood like for children? Are the schools good? How long is the commute? How will neighbors feel about a mixed marriage? (my wife’s a bama fan). Of the houses we’re looking at I don’t feel any of them would be any better than the other. It will be nicer than I can explain here to have my children and my wife with me every night.
I’m working on three other “special reports” for the month. One on “How to Get to Heaven”, one on “Is there a Hell” and another I can’t say anything about for now. Trying to get “heaven and hell” into two 2-minute stories is a challenge. Asking an imam the question “What does Islam teach about how to get to heaven” brought a 20-minute answer.
By the way, the other day I remembered one of the funniest moments down on the river that I experienced. I’ll blog about it later this week. (that’s a ratings month tease).
