The greatest thing on the internet? Besides instant and live baseball boxscores I’d have to say message boards. Who needs to call tech support when you can log on and ask another user how to do something.
Two message boards made the difference tonight in getting my monitors up and running with the new software. I upgraded one video card yesterday to a 256mb AGP. I suppose that made some sort of conflict with the pci card and my video editor and the new software wouldn’t run. Per their suggestion I took the pci board out and things are running better than ever.
This new software is a chroma-key or vector-key software. I’ve been using it tonight and it’s soo cool. It ought to be after what I paid for it.
Tomorrow will be spent back at the computer store for an adapter to get my second monitor back online. I’ll also do a fair amount of editing and playing with the kids.
by the way, my new blog on media village will be public on Wednesday. I’ll leave the web site address tomorrow.
